We divide the development in the following phases, in order to give you exactly what you need:
Together with you we establish an approximate overview of the required functions; we do this in a simple and straightforward manner, in dialogue with the concerned departments and users.
Based on the collected informations we build a prototype of the application, that already contains all pages and functions of the finished user interface. Thus we can test directly with the user, if functionality and design match the actual requirement for representing a process. After optimization and acceptance of the prototype, this also serves as living IT specification for the development.
As the prototype already contains the finished design and especially a description of the complete functionality, in this step we can fully concentrate on the development, without the necessity of frequent time-consuming consultations. The prototype is not only specification, but already contains the finished web design, that can be transferred to the final product almost without changes.
Already during the development you have the chance of performing functional tests. We give you access to all finished sections via a secure internet connection. At the latest after the completion of the development we conduct a functional and performance test, first on our own and then together with you; so we can avoid unpleasant surprises after the rollout.
After the launch we make sure that all misunderstandings or possibly still existing bugs are removed swiftly and unbureaucratically. For this we provide you with an access to our ticketing system. Thus you always have an overview of problems and progress. As nearly always enhancements and changes are necessary, already during the development were we anxious to structure everything as simple and obvious as possible.
We develop for you software in all usual UNIX script languages, C/C++ and Java. Our particular expertise is in the development of powerful software in Perl.
